WE DID IT! $1,000,000 in Debt Forgiveness Coming to the Cincinnati area!

We are thrilled to announce that, with the love and support of an amazing community, we have  purchased $1 million of medical debt belonging to families and individuals in the Cincinnati area who can’t afford to pay. This debt will be forgiven and removed from the market. As this is considered a gift from a disinterested third party, there are no income or tax implications for those whose debt will be forgiven.

Within the next 4-6 weeks, magic yellow envelopes will appear in mailboxes informing people that their debt has been forgiven.  The debt is forgiven with no strings attached and will be removed from the recipient’s credit reports.

This gift to the people of Cincinnati and its surroundings was made possible via a partnership with New York-based nonprofit, RIP Medical Debt.  Made famous by HBO’s John Oliver, RIP Medical Debt has abolished over $120 million dollars of medical debt by purchasing debt for pennies on the dollar and removing it from the market.
